Lakes Christian Centre has been formed as a fellowship of believers in the Lordship of Jesus Christ.
Our supreme desire is to know Christ and to be conformed into His image by the power of the Holy Spirit.
We believe that the only true basis of Christian fellowship is His love. We are an independent local Church.
A brief history
The Church was formed in 1924 in the Langdale Valley. The work moved to Ambleside in the early 80’s, and onto Windermere in the mid-90’s.
Service times
We gather at 11.00am every Sunday morning at Goodly Dale School in Windermere. This is the family service. This service is designed for all members of the family. At present we are journeying through the Stories of the Bible, from Genesis to Revelation. During this service we also share in the Communion. This is open to all who wish to remember the death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ.
