Onward Christian Soldiers
Chris, Beryl and myself went to see the Mikado at the Old Laundry Theatre last week. It was wonderful and brought back great memories of when, as a 6 year old, I would sit and watch Staveley Operatic Society practice the annual Gilbert and Sullivan operas that they put on each September. My Mum played the piano and had to be at all the rehearsals and from the age of 6 to 11, I used to sit and watch in awe as these people were put through their paces.

Dedication
In the first book of Samuel, Hannah asked the Lord to bless her with a child. In verse 11 it says these words: "If you will give me a child then I will give him unto you all the days of his life."

The Only Way is Up!
It will be wonderful to welcome Yazz (Yasmin De Fernandez) to Lakes Christian Centre over our open weekend on the 8th - 10th October.

Only Two
From midnight on Wednesday, 6th October to midnight on Thursday, 7th October we will be praying for 24-hours continuously. I believe the Lord has called His people to pray in the run up to our Open Weekend when we will also be hosting Yazz on the Saturday and Sunday evenings.

I Surrender All
Ramin spoke excellently on Sunday morning and what really struck me was the need to surrender all of our life to the Lord - our thoughts and deeds.
