Praise
House Of Prayer

For my house will be called a House of prayer to the nations

Isaiah 56.7.

Our House of Prayer

As a church we aim to be a ‘House of Prayer’ and regularly meet to pray together.

Does prayer really work?

Does God hear our prayers?

We believe so!

We believe that prayer is powerful and we can give examples of when prayer has impacted and changed our lives and the lives of others around us.

We know that God does hear because The Bible tells us so: “Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you” (Jeremiah 29:12)

Because we believe that prayer is powerful and that God really does hear us, it is always our pleasure to pray for people and we love seeing God break through into people’s lives in amazing and miraculous ways.

Although anyone can pray at any time (and we do!) we set aside designated times during the week for meeting together as a Church with a deliberate focus on praying for our families, our community, our country and the wider world.

THE TUESDAY POWER HOUR (our early morning prayer meeting)

Every Tuesday at 7am the early birds meet at The Mission (or via an online link) to begin the day with an hour of prayer.

THE THURSDAY POWER HOUR (our evening prayer meeting)

Every Thursday evening at 6pm everyone is welcome to meet at The Mission (or via an online link) to spend an hour in prayer together.

PRAYER AND FASTING

On every sixth Tuesday we hold a day of Prayer and Fasting (with a specific focus) culminating in a Prayer Evening from 6.30pm – 8pm.

COMMUNITY COFFEE AND PRAYER

Whilst we are making changes to our premises, Tuesdays Community Coffee and Prayer will be cancelled for the near future, however, if you would like prayer please contact us on the link below to arrange a suitable appointment.

Our small team is on hand to pray with anyone who has a need or a concern which they wish to share. Prayer will be offered in privacy.

OPEN DOORS

Open Doors is an international ministry serving persecuted Christians and churches worldwide.

https://www.opendoorsuk.org

Janette Berry is our Open Doors representative and we hold an Open Doors prayer meeting on the fourth Sunday of every month from 9.15-10.15am at The Mission to which you are warmly invited.

PERSONAL PRAYER

If you would like us to pray for you, in confidence, at one of our meetings please drop us an email, giving as much or as little detail as you wish, and it will be our pleasure to serve you in this way.

Send any prayer requests to info@lakeschristiancentre.co.uk
